Spirent SmartBits XLW-3721A TeraMetrics Ethernet XENPAK MSA Module

The SmartBits XLW-3721A is a powerful Ethernet XENPAK MSA Module. The producer of the SmartBits XLW-3721A is Spirent Communications. The Spirent SmartBits XLW-3721A Ethernet XENPAK MSA device is a 1-port, 2-slot, 10-Gigabit Ethernet Module developed especially for the designing, benchmarking, testing, and quality checks of 10 GbE hardware and firmware. Moreover, the SmartBits XLW-3721A Ethernet XENPAK MSA Module is configured to evaluate the integrated operation of IPv4 and IPv6 devices. The design of the SmartBits XLW-3721A module complies with IEEE 802.3ae standard.

The Spirent SmartBits XLW-3721A module, in addition to the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, supports UDP, TCP, ARP, ICMP, IGMP, RIP, and BGP-4 protocols. With built-in WAN and LAN compatibility, the SmartBits XLW-3721A Ethernet Module supports 10.3125 Gbps signal speed in LAN and 9.58464 Gbps signal speed in WAN. A wide window of frame size, i.e. 42 – 16,384 bytes, is featured in the SmartBits XLW-3721A Ethernet Module. The Spirent SmartBits XLW-3721A module has an advanced feature of measuring packet loss, latency, and frame sequence for individual streams simultaneously. 

The Spirent SmartBits XLW-3721A Ethernet XENPAK MSA Module contains the provision of Layer-2 through Layer-7 testing and assesses the performance of network switches and routers as per RFC-2544 and RFC-2889 test methods. The Spirent SmartBits XLW-3721A module is used in conjunction with SmartBits SMB-600B or SMB-6000C units and requires only 02 slots for installation. The SmartBits XLW-3721A module requires one Ethernet cable and one 10/100 Mbps half-duplex Ethernet controller card for the control of the module through a PC.
