CSA8000

The Tektronix CSA8000 Communications Signal Analyzer series is comprised of several different models, with varying measurement capabilities and performance. The Tektronix CSA8200 Communications Signal Analyzer is ideal for research, design assessment and manufacturing testing in fields such as, Datacom and telecom components, transceiver subassemblies and transmission systems, TDR- based impedance characterization, semiconductor tests, and computer and storage-based high speed electrical serial data.  The CSA8200 series uses a Microsoft Windows 2000 Operating System, so the user can utilize a familiar interface while operating the model. Eight measurements can be supported at once on the models in this series. There are also several mass storage device options: a floppy disk, removable hard drive, and a CD-ROM. The CSA8200 series also has a 10.4 inch color, touchscreen display.

The CSA8000B Communications Signal Analyzer is another option which can be utilized for design assessment and manufacturing tests of Datacom and telecom components, transceiver subassemblies, and transmission systems. The Tektronix CSA8000B has a wide bandwidth, modular architecture, an extremely quick acquisition rate, and normal, infinite, variable persistence, and color graded display mode options. This model produces measurement outcomes, not simply raw data, by using features such as time and amplitude histograms, mask evaluation, and statistical measurements.
