Tektronix MDO3052 Mixed Domain Oscilloscope

The Tektronix MDO3052 Mixed Domain Oscilloscope incorporates a spectrogram display, which is perfect for checking gradually changing RF phenomena. The x-axis represents recurrence, like in any common spectrum display, while the y-axis represents time. Furthermore, color is utilized to demonstrate amplitude. Spectrogram slices are created by taking every range and "flipping it up on its edge" with the goal that it's one-pixel row tall after assigning colors to every pixel based on the amplitude at that recurrence. Cold colors (blue and green) are low amplitudes and hot colors (yellow and red) are higher amplitudes.
