Tektronix MDO4034-3 Mixed Domain Oscilloscope

The MDO4034-3 is a 6-in-1 integrated, Mixed Domain Oscilloscope that includes a logic analyzer, arbitrary function generator, spectrum analyzer, DVM/frequency counter, and protocol analyzer. This instrument offers the performance required to solve the most difficult embedded design challenges efficiently and quickly. The MDO4034-3 has 350 MHZ bandwidth, 3 GHz frequency range, 20 Mpts memory, 4+16 (4 x 350 MHz analog channels and 16 digital channels), and can acquire samples at the rate of 2.5 GS/s.

This instrument is offered with 500 MHz, standard passive voltage probes with 3.9 pF capacitive loading. With this model, the user can achieve more than 135 possible trigger combinations, 44 fully automated measurements, and FFT analysis. This mixed domain oscilloscope allows the user to capture time-correlated digital, RF, and analog signals for a thorough system view of the DUT. The display comes with a time domain graticule that provides support for three RF time domain traces.

The integrated, 4-digit, digital voltmeter of the MDO4034-3 can be considered as a viable and handy solution for AC, DC, RMS, and AC+DC RMS voltage measurements. The frequency counter can provide the user with precise frequency measurements. This model features four USB 2.0 high speed host ports (two ports mounted on both the front and rear panel) and one USB 2.0 device port. In addition, a standard LAN port is provided that can be used for the remote controlling and programming of the instrument. To get the oscilloscope display on a wider external monitor or projector, the user can utilize the DB-15 female video output port as well.
