Tektronix TDS1002 Digital Storage Oscilloscope

The TDS1002 Digital Storage Oscilloscope manufactured by Tektronix is designed to take ground-referenced measurements and is ideal for applications such as: service and repair, manufacturing test and quality control, education and training, and design and debug. The TDS1002 has 2 channels, a bandwidth of 60 MHz, a sample rate of 1.0 GS/s, and a monochrome display screen. The record length per channel is 2500 points. This model also has an autoset menu, a probe check wizard, cursors with readouts, a trigger frequency readout, 11 automated measurements, and waveform averaging and peak detection.

The interface on the Tektronix TDS1002 has analog controls, which ensure the model is simple to operate, decreasing learning time and increasing competency. The model can mechanically spot square waves, video signals, and sine waves with readouts of pertinent information and extra user-selectable views of the signal. This Digital Storage Oscilloscope also comes equipped with one P2220 200 MHz 10X to 1X Switchable Passive Probe per channel.

OpenChoice Software allows a connection from the TDS1002 to a PC by utilizing GPIB and RS-232. The software can transport and record waveforms, measurements, screen images, and settings. It comes with a Windows desktop data transfer application, along with Microsoft Excel and Word toolbar add-ins. Additionally, the Tektronix TDS1002 has a printer port, which is compatible with many types of printer formats. OpenChoice has a TDS2CMAX Communication Module, a TDS2MEM Storage Memory and Communication Module, and integration with third-party software.
