Tektronix TDS1012B Digital Storage Oscilloscope

The TDS1012B Digital Storage Oscilloscope created by Tektronix can be used in many types of applications, including but not limited to, education and training, service and repair, design and debug, and manufacturing test and quality control. There are 12 automatic measurements available, as well as Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), a simple waveform capture feature, and precise real-time acquisition to the complete 100 MHz bandwidth. The TDS1012B can be used in conjunction with the AFG3000 Series Arbitrary Function Generator. This combination allows the user to precisely confirm, validate, and characterize designs effortlessly at an economical price.

The Tektronix TDS1012B Oscilloscope has Roll, Single Sequence, Peak Detect, Average, and Sample acquisition modes. Several trigger modes are available as well: Normal, Auto, and Single Sequence. The trigger types include: Pulse Width or Glitch, Video, and Rising/Falling Edge. External trigger input is another feature on the TDS1012B.

As many as 10 front-panel setups can be saved without a USB flash drive. There are also USB host and device ports on this oscilloscope for effortless linking to a PC, removable information saving, and printing. Other affordable digital storage oscilloscopes do not provide as much versatility and easy information transfers. OpenChoice PC Communications Software is another feature of the Tektronix TDS1012B. With OpenChoice, screen images and waveform information can be transferred into the desktop application or into Microsoft Word or Excel. In addition, National Instruments SignalExpress Tektronix Edition Software comes with even more capabilities, such as remote oscilloscope control, live waveform assessment, and advanced examination.
