Tektronix TDS3000 Series

The Tektronix TDS3000 Oscilloscope (Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope or DPO) series has a plethora of beneficial features: full VGA color LCD on all models, built-in floppy disk drives, 12 automatic measurements, QuickMenu user interface, an extended video application module, sample rates up to 5 GS/s, and supports active, differential, and current probes. The TDS3012, TDS3032, and TDS3052 have 2 channels, while the TDS3014, TDS3034, and TDS3054 have 4 channels. The bandwidth is 100 MHz for the TDS3012/14, 300 MHz for the TDS3032/34, and 500 MHz for the TDS3052/3054. The sample rate is 1.25 GS/s for the TDS3012/14, 2.5 GS/s for the TDS3032/34, and 5 GS/s for the TDS3052/54 models. Design technicians and engineers can utilize the advantages of DPOs and edit the applications as they see fit. DPOs can effectively show, save, and evaluate three dimensions of signal information in real-time: amplitude, time, and distribution of amplitude over time. The Tektronix TDS3000 series is customizable with five available application modules. These modules are comprised of a telecommunications mask test module, an FFT module, an advanced trigger module, a 601 digital video module, and an extended video module. The Tektronix TDS3000 series can be transported with ease, equipped with necessary applications, or even upgraded without sending it to the manufacturer.
