Tektronix TDS5032B Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope

The Tektronix TDS5032B is a Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope from the TDS5000B series. It is a 2-Channel, 350 MHz model featured with 53 automatic waveform measurements, histograms, basic math, spectrum analysis capability, as well as an equation editor. This instrument’s high-performance features make it suitable for a variety of applications, including but not limited to, communications mask tasking, video design, digital design, digital debug and power measurements. This model comes with a built-in CD-RW drive and a built-in computer with 2.0 GHz Central Processing Unit, ≥80 GB Internal HDD, and 512 MB RAM.

This oscilloscope comes with a comprehensive measurement system for signal characterization. The user can choose from 53 automatic measurements with the help of a graphical palette that organizes measurements into Time, Combination, Histogram, Amplitude and Communications categories logically. The Tektronix TDS5032B can deliver up to 5 GS/s and 2.5 GS/s real-time sample rates on 1 and 2 channels respectively. This unit offers an 8M maximum record length per channel with standard memory.

The Tektronix TDS5032B comes with multiple acquisition modes like Envelope, Hi-Res, Averaging etc. In addition to this, it also has Tektronix`s FastAcq Acquisition mode, which optimizes the instrument for analysis and capturing of dynamic signals of infrequent events. With this mode enabled, the TDS5032B can capture waveforms at a rate of 100,000 wfms/s.
