Tektronix TDS5054BE Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope

The TDS5054BE is a 4-Channel, 500 MHz Bandwidth Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope created by Tektronix. It is a powerful instrument designed to provide a 1 Gs/s maximum sample rate, regardless of the number of channels in use. With one channel in use, the Tektronix TDS5054BE offers an 8 M record length that can be doubled to 16 M, with the help of Option 3. With FastAcq acquisition mode enabled, you will be able to capture and analyze dynamic signals of infrequent nature at 100,000 wfms/s.

The Tektronix TDS5054BE provides 200 ps/div to 1000 s/div timebase range, 15 ppm timebase accuracy, ±75 ns channel-to-channel deskew range and (s/div x 10) to 1000 s timebase delay time range. It can acquire samples with 1.5% (at 0 V offset) DC gain accuracy and (0.06/sample rate + 15 ppm x |Reading|) RMS delta time measurement accuracy. 

This model includes multiple data transfer programs such as Word Toolbar, Excel Toolbar, and Report Generator to simplify documentation and analysis on the integrated Windows Desktop or an external PC. With this model, UNIX applications can also connect directly over Ethernet, utilizing the XVI 11.2 server that comes preloaded on the TDS5000B Series oscilloscopes.

The Tektronix TDS5054BE includes open access to the Microsoft Windows 2000 working environment. The ability to access the MS Windows desktop while the instrument operates as a dedicated oscilloscope makes the TDS5054BE a powerful tool. Some applications, including MS Paint, Wordpad, and a web browser, come built-in in this mode. The user can install other apps like LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Excel on the instrument directly.
