The Tektronix TDS6000B/C Series of Digital Storage Oscilloscopes is ideal for confirming, characterizing, and debugging advanced electronic designs. This series is ideal for applications such as: high energy physics measurements and data acquisition, signal integrity, jitter and timing analysis, computer, datacom, and storage area network equipment designs and high-speed backplanes, and confirmation, characterization, debug, and compliance of next generation digital designs. Each oscilloscope in the series comes with OpenChoice software and Microsoft Windows XP OS to provide built-in networking and assessment. Another standard software program, MyScope custom control windows, helps boost production rates.

The Tektronix TDS6000C Series delivers acquisition architecture with a maximum sample rate of 40 GS/s and a record length of 64 Msamples on two channels. The Tektronix TDS6000B/C Series provide the industry’s most complete set of assessment and compliance tools for tasks such as waveform mask testing, a pass/fail compliance test, and much more. On the TDS6000C digital storage oscilloscopes, Option PTD is available. Option PTD allows the user to simply decode 8b/10b and other encoded serial data streams, and select encoded words for the serial pattern trigger to capture. This option recovers the clock signal, discovers the transitions, and decodes the characters and other types of protocol information.
