Tektronix TDS8200 Digital Sampling Oscilloscope

The TDS8200 Digital Sampling Oscilloscope is a state-of-the acquisition system by Tektronix designed to work in conjunction with a variety of modules. The optical modules this model supports provide complete test solutions for both Datacom (Gigabit Ethernet) and Telecom (155 Mb/s to 43 Gb/s) applications. The Tektronix TDS8200 guarantees an extremely high acquisition rate regardless of its mode, by providing dedicated digital signal processors (DSP) for every channel. This oscilloscope is perfect for applications like High-Speed Component Testing, Communications Testing, and Crosstalk/TDT/TRT Test of Assemblies and Components.

As far as the features and benefits are concerned, this model can be configured from DC to 70 GHz Bandwidth, with up to 8 Signal Channels. For acquisition, this model features FrameScan™ Acquisition Mode and a swift acquisition rate (typical 150 kSamples/s per channel), while acquiring inputs on eight channels simultaneously. A touchscreen display is also available to make this model ideal for facilitating effortless interaction with the users. 

Designed with a modular architecture, this oscilloscope can be employed for testing in several configurations. The most prominent sampling module it supports is 70+ GHz bandwidth, single channel 80E06. For low noise sampling, the dual channel, 12.5 GHz sampling module 80E02 can be acquired, which is designed primarily for flat noise measurements in device characterization and digital communication applications. Similarly, this oscilloscope can easily be coupled with the 82A04, which is a Phase Reference Module that occupies any one electrical module slot, while the other three modules can be consumed for signal acquisition.
