Keithley 2260B-80-13 DC Power Supply

The Keithley 2260B-80-13 is a 1080 W, Programmable DC Power Supply with an output rating of 0–30 V and 0–108 A for voltage and current. This model features an integrated test sequence mode, which allows the Power Supply to generate an array of voltage levels over changing time periods at every level. The programmable current rise and fall times prevent any damage to low impedance and sensitive loads from inrush current. To limit current and voltage overshoot when energizing power LEDs, this Power Supply offers a constant current priority setting. To save test system and bench space, the user can fit two 2260B-80-13 units in a standard rack width.

The Keithley 2260B-80-13 comes equipped with three fans, which are controlled automatically to keep the Power Supply`s temperature within the optimum range. For completely automated controlling, this model has two communication interfaces: LAN and USB. However, a GPIB interface can also be acquired for this model, but it is offered separately as an option. The Keithley 2260B-80-13 has control provision for analog inputs which supports the creation of multiple voltage profiles. Thus, this Power Supply can be used to simulate how a battery responds to a rapidly changing load current.

 For more demanding applications, multiple 2260B-80-13 models can be linked in parallel to deliver as high as 3240 Watts of power. To instantly dissipate voltage on the output, the Keithley 2260B-80-13 features a quick discharge capability. In addition, it has a fast transient recovery of 1 millisecond to adjust load changes. In automated test systems, this efficient combination of sharp transient response time and fast discharge time minimizes the duration of critical test time.
