Anritsu 68053B Signal Generator

The 68053B is the Synthesized Signal Generator by Anritsu, which supports a wide range of frequency, over the spectrum of 2 GHz to 26.5 GHz. This amazing range allows multiple levels of output power. The 68053B Signal Generator also incorporates the high-quality liquid crystal display. It is a dot matrix LCD and provides sixteen lines. Each line can have forty characters, which enables the user to view and navigate through the menu. The instrument incorporates the separate space for data entry options. It is accomplished through the rotary data knob or keys available on the front panel.

The 68053B Signal Generator also offers the step sweep and manual sweep. The frequency changes in the discrete and synthesized manner in step sweep mode. This variation occurs between selected ranges of frequencies. It also offers sweep menu to the users. It enables the user to control the step size and dwell time per step. The manual sweep mechanism allows tuning phase-locked steps manually through the rotary data knob. It is available on the front panel of the device. The high-power output can be obtained via option 15A.

The 68053B Signal Generator offers the secure mode of operation. In this mode, the device functions normally. However, frequency and power levels are not displayed. This mechanism works for both local and remote operations. The menu keys also operate normally in this mode of the operation. It only disables the display of the parameters.
