Anritsu Pulse Pattern Generator MP1758A

The MP1758A is a high-performance pulse pattern generator from Anritsu. This model has a frequency range from 100 MHz to 12.5 GHz. The MP1758A offers many advanced capabilities. and comes with four data channels. These channels offer independent and adjustable output. The MP1758A offers a built-in synthesized clock signal. This model comes with both internal and external clock features and has an input level of 0.8 to 2.0 Vp-p for the external clock. It also offers input waveforms. The waveforms may be a sine wave or a square wave.

The Anritsu MP1758A comes with the pseudorandom binary sequence (PRBS) pattern as well. This pattern is a random stream of bits. It can be reproduced by using very simple hardware or software. The MP1758A offers a Pseudorandom (PRBS) pattern with 2^31 -1 bits. It comes with the capability of generating seven pseudorandom patterns. These patterns generate a 1/4 phase difference for each channel. The MP1758A also generates programmable patterns. These programmable patterns can be a maximum of 128 Kbit long for each channel.

The Anritsu MP1758A offers a two channel clock output. This model provides an independent setting of amplitude and offset voltage for each channel.  It has a data output offset voltage of –2.0 to +2.0 VOH, an amplitude range of 0.5 to 2.0 Vp-p, and a delay of –500 to +500 ps between the data and clock outputs. The MP1758A also offers a GPIB interface capability. This allows the user to control the instrument remotely.
