Tektronix AWG5012B Arbitrary Waveform Generator
With 4 analog and 32 digital channel outputs and 14 Bit vertical resolution up to 1.2 GS/s, the Tektronix AWG5012B is an ideal solution for mixed and versatile signals generation. This model provides the user with a unique combination of digital and analog output performance, enabling them to generate digital and analog IF, as well as IQ signals. With the addition of dynamic jump and advanced sequencing capabilities, the creation of complex waveforms to simulate real-world environments more closely becomes easy.
The Tektronix AWG5012B can generate high dynamic range IF signals with modulation bandwidth up to 180 MHz. This model is the only stand-alone arbitrary waveform generator with 4 channels, thus it reduces uncertainty and simplifies test setup. With the RFXpress Software, the user can quickly create radar and digitally modulated signals. The Tektronix AWG5012B also features waveform sequencing and its sub-sequencing. Not only that, but it also enables generation of waveform loops, conditional branches, and jumps with an enhanced ability to simulate the behavior of real-world signals.
This model features up to 8 marker outputs and 2 or 4 single-ended/differential outputs to provide the required testing flexibility. It also comes with a deep memory, a feature which makes this instrument capable of the creation of long and complicated waveform sequences. With the Tektronix AWG5012B model, the user can even play back the signals captured on real-time spectrum analyzers and scopes for the simulation of real-world environments. The internal, Windows-based computer on the AWG5012B allows the user to transfer data to and from the instrument seamlessly.
