National Instruments TB-2606 Matrix Terminal Block  

The TB-2606 is a Matrix Terminal Block. National Instruments fabricates the NI TB-2606 Terminal Block. The TB-2606 is designed with the part number 777879-01. The NI TB-2606 provides different connecting terminals for chassis for the NI PXI-2501 and PXI-2503. The TB-2606 Matrix Terminal Block requires an analog bus accessory to connect with multiple interface cards. The NI TB-2606 can be assembled with a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver, a 0.10 in. slotted screwdriver, a wire insulation stripper, wire cutters, and analog bus connectors.

The TB-2606 Matrix Terminal Block is manufactured with a printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB provides a layout for circuit connections. The TB-2606 Terminal Block offers direct connections alongside screw terminals to the inputs/outputs of the NI-2501 or NI-2503 connectors. The NI TB-2606 Terminal Block utilizes the front panel of the PXI chassis for terminal connections. The PXI chassis of the NI-2501/2503 requires a certain type of routing for a matrix configuration of 6 by 4. The TB-2606 provides routing that can configure the PXI-2501/2503 Chassis. 

The NI TB-2606 Matrix Terminal Block is also used for wiring connections of PXI multiplexers. The National Instruments TB-2606 Terminal Block supports the terminal connections of the row and column for matrix inputs. The NI TB-2606 also offers connections for the analog bus. For this purpose, 2 extra connectors come with the TB-2606. The low-voltage AB plug can be used for analog bus interfaces with the adjacent switch cards.  

TB-2606 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Terminal Block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
