National Instruments TB-2630 PXI Terminal Block

The National Instruments TB-2630 (Part Number: 778733-01) is a PXI Terminal Block made to be used with the PXI-2530 Matrix Switch Module. The TB-2630 terminal block can be easily installed onto the front of the PXI-2350, allowing for exanded signal routing capabilities. With ribbon cable headers and screw terminals for trigger input and output signals, the TB-2630 offers a versatile solution for efficient and reliable signal transmission.

To connect the TB-2630 terminal block, first verify that the NI PXI-2530 is securely installed in a PXI chassis. Then, insert the TB-2630 into the front connector of the PXI-2530. To ensure that the terminal block is secure, the top and bottom chassis screws located on the rear of the panel should be tightened.

The TB-2630 is equipped with eight pitch ribbon cable connectors that measure 2 × 9 inches and 0.100 inches. allowing for effortless connectivity in a variety of assemblies. Any 0.050 in. pitch ribbon cable is compatible with the TB-2630, providing added flexibility to your setup.Double row ribbon cable connectors use a pitch that is half of the connector's. For example, if you have a 0.100 in. pitch connector then you'll need 0.050 in. ribbon cables for it to work properly.The pitch of the connector typically defines ribbon cable connector assemblies. In certain cases where a ribbon cable with more than 18 conductors is required, the unwanted conductors can be removed prior to use.
