National Instruments TB-2708 Terminal Block  

The TB-2708 is a PXI Terminal Block created by National Instruments. The National Instruments TB-2708 Terminal Block correlates to the part number 778823-01. The NI TB-2708 is in the series of TB products by National Instruments. The TB-2708 Terminal Block is compatible with PXI-6115 and PXI-6120 S Series devices. The operator should be grounded at the time of signal connections because the TB-2708 Terminal Block is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD).

The NI TB-2708 Terminal Block is equipped with 9 SMB connectors. The TB-2708 consists of a single input/output connector with 14-pins located at the bottom surface. The NI TB-2708 renders direct connections to the front panel of the PXI-6115/6120 devices without any need for an external bus/cable. The National Instruments TB-2708 Terminal Block offers analog input/output signals to the PXI DAQ modules via the 9 SMB connectors. The digital signals can be accessed by the input/output connector. The NI TB-2708 Terminal Block cannot perform with voltage inputs higher than the 42 V_peak or 60 VDC. The higher voltages can affect the TB-2708 and the host PC. 

The NI TB-2708 Terminal Block functions with 4 analog inputs with simultaneous sampling capability. The TB-2708 is designed with 2 analog outputs as well. The NI TB-2708 Terminal Block is capable of analog as well as digital triggering. The TB-2708 Terminal Block can also measure floating and ground-referenced analog input signals.

TB-2708 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Terminal Block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
