National Instruments TBX-1316 High-Voltage Attenuator Terminal Block

The NI TBX-1316 (Part Number: 777207-16) is a cabled Terminal Block designed to be used with the SCXI-1126, SCXI-1120/D, and SCXI-1125 (recommended). This Terminal Block offers an input voltage range of 1,000 V. The NI TBX-1316 also offers 200:1 attenuation, a shielded metal enclosure (lockable), and eight differential type input channels.

The NI TBX-1316 comes with a feature to extend the input voltage range for Direct Current (DC) and Alternating Current (AC) signals to 600 V for CAT II installations and 1000 V for CAT I installations. For frequency and voltage measurements, the user can utilize this Terminal Block with the NI SCXI-1126 and SCXI-1125 respectively. However, the combination of the SCXI-1120/D and TBX-1316 is a cost-effective and viable solution for voltage measurements.

The uniquely designed rigid metal enclosure offered with this Terminal Block ensures proper grounding, safety, and easy field installation. Screw terminals are utilized in this model for ground, primary, and neutral connections. Moreover, the availability of wire strain-relief collars keeps cables held in place firmly. The TBX-1316 Terminal Block comes with integrated calibration EEPROMs. These EEPROMs are used to provide channel-specific calibration information when the unit operates in conjunction with the SCXI-1125.

The NI TBX-1316 can easily be connected to the analog input module through the shielded SH3232 cable. Each input channel available on this High-Voltage Terminal Block comes with a dedicated 200:1 attenuation circuit and offers a ground, negative, and positive terminal. The terminals incorporated in the TBX-1316 can easily accommodate up to 12-gauge wire.
