National Instruments VXI-TB-296 Terminal Block

The VXI-TB-296 (Part Number: 777350-02) is a Terminal Block. The manufacturer and designer of the NI VXI-TB-296 is National Instruments. The VXI-TB-296 is designed to be installed specifically with the VXI-DIO modules. The VXI-DIO modules are also designed by National Instruments. The VXI-DIO modules are digital I/O modules used for digital communication.

This Terminal Block is connected with the NI VXI-DIO modules. The VXI-DIO modules need to be installed in a VXIbux chassis. The VXI-TB-296 is shipped within casing for protection. The casing of the VXI-TB-296 is a metal shielded enclosure. This metal housing provides protection to the National Instruments VXI-TB-296 Terminal Block from external environment and prevents any damage. Thus, the durability and life of the NI VXI-TB-296 substantially increases. The VXI-TB-296 has two screw terminal boards inside this metal enclosure. Each board of the National Instruments VXI-TB-296 incorporates 96 terminals, resulting in a total of 192 screw terminals for connections to the VXI-DIO modules. The VXI-DIO module is connected to the VXI-TB-296 terminal block through its front panel connections.

This Terminal Block is ideal for a variety of applications because it is designed to accommodate multiple components. Some of the components that are compatible with the NI VXI-TB-296 terminal block are current-loop receivers, thermistors, thermocouples, and RTDs. Moreover, strain gauges and volt sources can also be connected with the VXI-TB-296.
