National Instruments VXI-TB-96 Terminal Block

The VXI-TB-96 is a Terminal Block extension. The NI VXI-TB-96 is manufactured by National Instruments. National Instruments has launched numerous DAQ modules and their accessories. The VXI-TB-96 Terminal Block is designed for use with the VXI-SC-1102 Series of signal conditioning modules. The VXI-SC-1102 Series comprises 3 modules. These modules include the VXI-SC-1102, VXI-SC-1102B, and VXI-SC-1102C. The VXI-TB-96 can be used with all three SC modules.

This Terminal Block is part of the SCXI equipment. SCXI is a large set of different devices and includes different modules and terminal blocks. These modules are the front-end of DAQ modules used for signal conditioning. The SCXI modules are multi-featured modules and can perform several tasks. The main functions of the SCXI modules are Multiplexing, Amplification, and Isolations. The SCXI modules can multiplex multiple signals to generate a single output signal that can be used to control different board. The SCXI modules provide isolation between DAQ modules and different components such as transducers.

The National Instruments VXI-TB-96 Terminal Block incorporates 96 screw terminals, which are used for signal connections with compatible models. The VXI-TB-196 and VXI-TB-296 Terminal Blocks can be upgraded by using the VXI-TB-96. The VXI-TB-96 comes within a metal enclosure. This enclosure protects the Terminal Block from the outside environment. The CJC sensor of the VXI-TB-96 Terminal Block is a thermistor CJC sensor.

VXI-TB-296 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the terminal block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
