MDO4000

The MDO4000 Mixed Domain Oscilloscope series by Tektronix contains a built-in spectrum analyzer, time-correlated analog, digital, and RF signals for a full look at your model. The RF spectrum will also show deviations over an extended period. The MDO4000 series of oscilloscopes have four analog channels with bandwidths of either 100 MHz, 350 MHz, 500 MHz, or 1 GHz, 16 digital channels, and 1 RF channel. The series has automated measurements such as: Channel Power, Occupied Bandwidth (OBW), and Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR). The Tektronix MDO4000 series each has a 10.4 inch XGA color display screen, measures 5.8 inches deep, and weighs 11 pounds.

A useful feature of the MDO4000 series is when an analog or digital channel along with the RF channel are on, the display screen will cut in half. The top half is a typical oscilloscope display of the Time Domain; the bottom half is a Frequency Domain view of the RF input. The MDO4000 Mixed Domain Oscilloscopes are unique because the split-screen feature described previously is not a traditional oscilloscope feature. On typical oscilloscopes, only one acquisition system is available. Furthermore, several optional applications of the series are: HDTV and custom video analysis, limit and mask testing, advanced Rf triggering, and power analysis.
