The Tektronix TDS800 Series of Digitizing Oscilloscopes has two input channels, can be easily transported, have two 14-bit digitizers, a maximum of 15,000 points record length for every channel, complete GPIB programmability, and a comprehensive measurement and documentation capability. The input connector types for these digitizing oscilloscopes is an SMA connector. The source frequency is 47 Hz to 63 Hz. The Tektronix TDS800 Series of oscilloscopes each weigh 29 pounds with the front cover. The dimensions of these models are 9.3 (H) x 17.5 (W) x 17.0 (D) inches with the front cover, handle, feet, and accessories pouch installed.

The TDS800 Series of Digitizing Oscilloscopes has a warm-up minimum of 20 minutes to reach the aforementioned specifications. The oscilloscope also must be within the 0 to +50 degree C range to operate appropriately. The digitizing oscilloscopes in the Tektronix TDS800 Series have automatic waveform measurements including: Low, High, Area, -Cross, +Cross, Minimum, Maximum, Frequency, Period, Rise, Fall, RMS, Cycle RMS, Mean, Cycle Mean, and various other types. An ongoing update of four measurements maximum can be shown at once. Furthermore, snapshot mode displays every measurement on the chosen waveforms.
