 The Anritsu PIM Master (Passive Intermodulation) Analyzer series is designed to commission and maintain global wireless networks. The Anritsu PIM Master series has the perfect tools to assess performance at access sites such as Remote Radio Head (RRH) installations or indoor Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). The compact and light size makes it easy to perform PIM testing without worrying about substantial lifting. The Distance-to-PIM feature (DTP), a standard feature for all models in the Anritsu PIM Master series, enables experts to discover the location of PIM faults inside the feed system and RF interconnects. Distance-to-PIM is the only feature that can spot the location of: dirty, corroded, over torqued, and microscopic arcing connectors, and PIM outside the antenna system. However, PIM measurements and Line Sweep measurements should both be used to confirm the quality of an antenna feed line because a PIM test cannot measure VSWR. One of the unique options of the MW82119B PIM Master is the cable and antenna analyzer (Option 331) and a frequency range of 2 MHz to 3 GHz. This model can measure RL, VSWR, Cable Loss, DTF, and Phase. The Anritsu PIM Master can perform measurements such as: PIM versus Time, Noise Floor, Swept PIM, and Distance-to-PIM.
