TDS5000B
The Tektronix TDS5000B Series of Digital Phosphor Oscilloscopes have many standard features such as: four channels, a GPIB controller, interoperability with Tektronix Logic Analyzers, remote viewing and control, pass/fail limit testing, communication mask testing, and a 10.4 inch bright display. Each oscilloscope is light and compact, ensuring that they are easily portable. There are models with 350 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1 GHz bandwidths. The TDS5054B and TDS5104B are the only two models in the series with a touch screen.
The TDS5000B Series has 53 automatic measurements available that can be selected from a graphical palette that arranges measurements into the following categories: Communications, Amplitude, Histogram, Combination, and Time. Additional information can be collected into measurement outcomes with statistical data such as min, max, mean, population, and standard deviation. Waveform cursors ensure that it is simple to measure trace-to-trace timing details, while cursors that connect between YT and XY display modes make it simple for the user to study phase associations and Safe Operating Area violations. Furthermore, applied measurement extensions can also be installed to boost the TDS5000B oscilloscope’s capabilities. Optional applications include jitter and timing analysis, power measurement and analysis, disk drive measurements, and Ethernet compliance assessment.
