The National Instruments MXI-3 consists of Interface Boards and Modules which have compatibility for either copper or fiber-optic cabling and 200 m maximum cabling distance. MXI-3 functions as a PCI-to-PCI bridge to complete high performance, as well as hardware and software transparency. The MXI-3 Remote Controllers have a peak rate of 132 Mbytes/s.
